Easy Butter Pecan Cake with Pecan Glaze

1 butter pecan boxed cake ( I found mine at Walmart but if you can't find this please use butter cake mix . It will be fine )
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1 stick of butter ( melted or diced )
Cook on 375 for about 30 mins
For the glaze
1 can sweetened condensed milk
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 cup chopped pecans ( plus more for topping )
1 tablespoon of butter
*cook glaze on low/ med heat until it comes to a slight boil , then remove from heat and add in butter and chop pecans.. let sit for 5 minutes

you can even add the pecans to the bottom of the cake pan BEFORE you add the cake batter

I doubled the recipe in the description box and had enough batter to make a pound cake and a smaller cake that I made in a 8x8 glass pan that I plan to take to the in-laws.
