All coked out, sleeping with each other, partying all night, and still created one of the greatest albums ever made. Fleetwood Mac is truly a legendary group. RIP Christine.

Lindsey is one of the most underrated guitar players of his time. He’s so so good.

Man… Lindsey was on another planet in this one. He found something here on stage. He was all the way in. Flow state times 1000. You could feel his soul through this performance

Never before has a group of people hated each other so much and yet made such compelling music. You'll notice that Stevie always holds her note put longer than Lindsey. It's a total power move. It's Stevie always needing to have the final say.

I want a “Bohemian Rhapsody” level biopic JUST about the making of Rumours. Holy crap that album is a masterpiece

I worked in Production on a Viacom event at the Theatre under Madison Square Garden many years ago. In rehearsal that day, this song hit me like a ton of bricks and was left in tears and speechless. They all performed this song as if their lives depended on it..! I needed to take a break and recover so I could continue my work that day. In almost 25 years of working on concerts, Live TV Award Shows and other Productions, I have NEVER been that deeply moved by a performance. And did I say that this was only rehearsal where artists usually "Save" the good stuff for the main show..? Holy crap. Watching this clip reminds me of that day SO MUCH that I'm feeling it all over again. It was magical - and I was honored by being able to tell them how raw and real this was for me after rehearsal was over. Nice day at the office !!

It is just a pure joy to see Stevie and Lindsey yelling at each other.

The entire Rumours album is a masterpiece. If you haven’t listened to Fleetwood Mac, you really owe it to yourself to listen to the entire thing. I’ve been a huge fan of the band and their solo work since the 70s. By the way, speaking of venom, check out the photo of their Rolling Stone cover that was released around the same time. It’s amazing.

Someone on the internet said that Taylor Swift writes about her exes but Stevie not only writes about him, but makes him stand on stage beside her while she sings about him!

Buckingham was self-taught. He skill was so extraordinary that when he left the group, it took more than one lead guitarist to perform what he had done as a single player

This concert did not need stage pyrotechnics. The performers did that.
Lindsey, shouting his pain, Stevie & Christine telling him to get over it, and the long-suffering rhythm section reminding them "guys, keep it together"

One of THE albums that was in every single persons stack. It's never overrated. It's a masterpiece for eternity.

Not only the story and performances are great, the studio version has one of the best sound quality, mastering and production I've heard. It's one of my go-to songs for testing headphones and speakers.

The studio recording is a masterpiece that must be heard.

You can *feel* the thunder of their angst, love, hate, despair - tension so thick you could cut the air with a knife. Their heartbreak makes for a timeless masterpiece for the rest of us.

Rhiannon by Fleetwood Mac from 1976. It feels like Stevie Nicks goes into a trance and casting a spell while performing a ritual. It is my favorite performance to watch

Ooh I'm excited. The Chain is one of the greatest songs of all time. Possibly Fleetwood Mac's best.
RIP Christine

The social dynamics of this band, and the lyrics they gave each other to sing, are just mindboggling.

3 lead singers is what put that version of Mac into the stratosphere. Each voice so distinct

In the documentary on the making of Rumours, Stevie Nicks tells a story of how she and Christine had to hide from John McVie who was in a alcohol and drug fuelled rage and was trying to kill Christine. That's how intense the situation was when they created songs like this. How they managed to keep it together for 3 more albums is just crazy.
