Turkey: "we condemn Israel for entering the buffer zone in Syria"

Also Turkey: invades Syria.

If you could all just stop invading each other for like, five minutes, that would be GREAT.

Remember no matter how far Turkey goes in there'll always be more Syrians in Turkey than Turks in Syria.

No country has done more to the Syrian people than Turkey. Saving the lives of 4 ml Syrians from certain death by the regime and has been taken care of them for the last 14 years costing the Turkish taxpayers over 40 bn $ yet you don't hear that in the Western media. and Turkey is not fighting the Kurds but fighting a designated Kurdish terrorist organization pkk that happens to be the Kurdish majority

Always hate it when countries pretend they have never talked to their enemies before therefore have no choice but military action.

I love how people condem israel for taking control of the buffer zone (for the high mountain points) but ignore turkey literally land grabbing from syria, turkey just wants to continue to oppress kurds and other minority but the world ignores it.

How many times they have done this again?

Can't we just leave the Syrians alone?

As usual, the Western media is still trying to separate the Kurdish minorities from their Arab surroundings. In Syria specifically, the Kurdish minority does not exceed 10% of the population, and they are spread and integrated throughout northern Syria, and are not concentrated in northeastern Syria only. Also, the lands east and north of the Euphrates River are full of Arabs, and therefore more than half of the population of the new state will be Arabs in any independence.

I'm a Turkish guy with decent level of English and strong opposition to Erdogan, so I believe I can be helpful to explain the situation.

The Beginning:
There is a terrorist organization within Turkiye (this is objective reality that is accepted by all the world) called PKK. SDF (Syrian Democratic Force) proven to finance PKK to make them rise again. Hence, Turkiye financed SNA (Syria National Army), the main group that opposes SDF who are ironically neither Syrian (they claim they're kurd), nor Democratic (they never held election).

The Development:
Even though SDF's aid to PKK is not effective, Turkiye's aid to SNA was so effective that SNA & Turkiye became like best buddies. So SDF retaliated by giving PKK weapons, which made Turkiye start giving weapons to SNA. When SDF send soldiers to PKK, Turkiye sent soldiers to SNA. SDF called it "invasion" but remember that Syria is not governed by SDF they're still just a separatist group so only the Syrian government can call it invasion (even if Turkiye's aid to SNA can be called "invasion". I certainly get why they use it but that's a very strong word that this situation doesn't fit as Syrians are the one expanding to SDF), and obvipusly, the Syrian goventment refused to call it invasion.

Final Situation:
Turkiye has no ambition to invade Syria. Syria doesn't feel threatened by Turkiye. Only SDF is trying to spread that. Turkiye is supporting and continue to support SNA especially as they expand their buffer zone between SDF & Turkiye. Eventually, As syrian government becomes able to control its borders independently, Turkiye's need to interfere will decrease. We don't want to spend to much money on foreign lands as well.

What invasion? What are you talking about? Who funds you? Turkey is not against Kurds! It is against separatist Kurds!
