I am so looking forward to a possible opportunity to attend one of these classes. I have been watching you for a few years now. As a firefighter we are great a forceable entry but suck at non destructive entry. Our department drills out a lot of locks, but it would be so nice to learn things like bump keys for basic use on an average deadbolt so we stop destroying locks and doorframes. Thank you for all of the great videos.

With as many hotels as I stay in through the year, I need to pick up a couple of those deadbolt straps!

I’m always torn about the Velcro straps. I’m a really big guy, and I mostly travel alone, my fear is that something would happen where I need a paramedic/police etc to have access to help me out and the strap would delay that help. Also Canadian so at home we rarely lock our doors, and I take comfort in knowing that someone could get access if I was in cardiac distress etc.

My thing is, how are people getting access to shot show? Isn't it still for industry folks and you have to go through some kind of vetting process if you're not with a vendor ?

It looks like you could do with a method of mounting a temporary external camera so you can see who is there without going near the door. Maybe one that hangs on a loop over the top of the door which can easily be mounted and removed.
