How do you work around the tomatoes issue though? I want to plant tomatoes.. can i just use a fabric planter, put soil in it and put the entire planter inside a green house? :(

Could be better with some alternative materials, like not having styrofoam and foil in the garden...

Ok, you made it wrong from the beginning... You can put the seed in small manure pots in the house to germinate for 1 week or so and than put the pots in the planter that you made. That will ensure 100% germination....
