I'll start by doing a full break-down on the Chase Freedom Unlimited, in which I'll discuss the Freedom Unlimited's annual fee, welcome bonus, point multipliers and ability to pair with other Chase Credit Cards, such as the Chase Sapphire Preferred.

Then, I'll discuss some positives & negatives on the Card, such as the $0 annual fee, ability to be used as a catch-all credit card, as well as negatives such as the 3% Foreign Transaction Fee.

Finally, I'll discuss what I've been doing with this Card, and my plans with the Freedom Unlimited going forward.

Definitely a great starter card Matt! The CFU is a great way to get exposure to all the perks of a simple no annual fee cards with a lot of redemptions option. Once you get the BBP, then it's going to interesting to see which one you decide to go with 😃

Good entry level beginner card. Once you add cards like the Gold, BBP and/or Hilton Surpass = sock drawer card. Great video 👍

I love having the CFU, but, it is becoming irrelevant in my wallet. Since I got the BBP, I moved over all of my monthly recurring business expenses to that card rather than using the CFU, and when I’m making large purchases for my business, that’ll be on the BBP as well. Such is life I guess 😅.

Do you know if you can get points for gift card purchases? Like say the CFF offers 5% at gas stations, can I just go inside the gas station and drop $1500 on a gift card to max out that category and actually get rewards for that? Or when it says grocery stores, can I just go to a grocery store and buy an Amazon gift card or something and get reward points?
