Honestly, I know Thanos is a ripoff of Darkseid but I much prefer him to Darkseid. He's a far more interesting character. All his series so far have been amazing.

It's pretty amazing that there isn't even really a passing mention to the Captain Marvel/Cosmic Cube stuff in here. That was a groundbreaking crossover story that spanned Captain Marvel, Avengers, Iron Man and Daredevil comics that directly led into the events of Infinity Gauntlet. Also the Starlin Warlock comics from the 70s where Thanos was a major supporting character. That series set the stage for the Infinity War

It's a five minute video, you couldn't possibly have cut that stuff for time.

we all watched and fell in love with the Harry Potter Movie Series
we all thought that that it's a movie about Magic, and never knew the Love & Devotion he transcended to Harry revealed only revealed in Deathly Hallows Part 2
also in a scene in the Order Of the Phoenix when Professor Umbridge asked him for a Veritas Serum, he said it was all used up, and the last student it was used on is cho

Thanos is not ''just a rip off''. He is far different and much interesting than darkseid. I agree, he was bulked up bcoz of darkseid. If that's the case, then black adam is a rip off of namor since dc was inspired from namor's looks.

Knock off yes, but it goes back and forth with both. DC being the first with aquaman two years after marvels namor. In the end, it is really power set wise. Thanos has been killed and comes back eventually and with the gauntet he is only beaten by surprise or ego. Same has been said with darkseid whom has been beaten just as many times with JLA, superman, doomsday, and so on.What awaits us is who will seem more powerful in movies. Thanos already looks powerful without the stones.

I wish Thanos in the movies would look more like he looks in the recent graphic novels. I just hope his character will at least be the same. Thanos as a character is dangerous because he's brilliant, not just because of his powers. If the movies don't convey this then they will have desecrated his character.
