I just realized. 4 has the tamest fate yet in the bad timelines. Sanitization and furitization is an awful fate, but 4 would just be given the Hypno Shades. And we know from Callie that it’s able to be reversed, or at the very least, contained. 4 definitely has it better then 3, 8, and 3.0

It's weird thiking that all agents are kinda Kids when they start the story mode, and they face really disturbing battles that are bigger than everything, really sad, but at the end we kinda forget the challenges and pain they pass through, its good that someone cares about the other endings in this very cinematographic form.(now nintendo need an anime about splatoon)

It's interesting because we don't get much information regarding fuzzy octolings, unlike sanitized octolings. The idea that some or even all inklings/octolings just straight up become mammals is fascinating. Just imagine that in the bad ending, where everyone becomes fuzzy, they eventually begin to morph from fuzzy balls to terrifying beasts.

I love the little twist you had on Neo 3 becoming a fuzzy ooze monster! Especially since in the games they just…turn into a fuzzball.

I love how crazy Neo, Capt'n, and 8 looked after the bad ending, as 4 just got a cool fit and some nice shades.

To me, neo 3’s bad end look feels like they went insane with the guilt of having the entire world end along with the fuzzy ooze being a constant reminder of that guilt making them go truly insane.

also i just have to say capn 3's shot where theyre pulling their cap down and looking smug is SUCH a good expression. its giving phoenix wright in ace attorney 4 vibes to me
and i dont know if it was a conscious decision or a stylistic choice but im OBSESSED with neo 3 having individual teeth and fangs when theyre mammalified as opposed to that solid beak inklings normally have. that mammalian design in general is making me feral its so good

I unfortunately got the fuzzball ending first because i was inkredibly anxious and i freaked out last second. I was horrified. I AM horrified. That music, with the inkling and octolings yelling in pain, the fuzzy octarians making their presence known. I hated it. Every second. I failed two more times, re-witnessing the true horror that I failed to prevent. My god I am traumatized.

God, I can’t get over how absolutely frightening this is. I find myself often cutting the game short of how truly terrifying the lore can get (especially with the addition of Neo 3). This animation is so simple, yet it just adds to the eerie and disturbing vibe. The silhouettes of each villain is such a great detail.
I think I’m gonna find myself coming back to this video more than once in the future
