You don’t need blood to have something be grotesque/disgusting.
Now with that being said, some of these "deaths" are over the top and look cartonish because of the obvious lack of realism and are actually pretty funny as a result.
1:03 is probably the best example. It had the potential to be heartwarming, but instead it ends up being hilarious in a way because of the way she blows up + it spawning another bomb for you ANYWAY which just seems like straight up black comedy LOL!

I played this game in VR and it made me so uncomfortable that I eventually quit. The game punishes you for every little mistake you make by killing a innocent girl in front of you as if to say “Fuck you, this is your fault that you couldn’t figure out this obtuse and poorly written puzzle that we made, now watch this child die. Excuse us while we jerk off over how creative and edgy we are.”
