One of the cool thing I did was input my PS3 into my Elgato HD through component and then have the HDMI of that go to the HDMI in of my Elgato HD60 to record 1080p60 footage of the PS3.

My TV has a hdmi arc port but I have an old Sony grx-8 music system which doesn't have hdmi port it has only rca port will it support dolby atmos and will I have to connect my firestick to hdmi arc port ? And the firestick says it supports Dolby atmos through hdmi passthrough what is that ? Please help

Please help. I have the elgato hd60 and my videos are very laggy if I put it on 720 and 1080. Not only this but when I plug everything correctly my tv keeps saying "not compatible" but I can hear the audio coming from my TV. PLEASE HELP!

After adding a Panasonic bluray player directly to my TV via HDMI 2 (Philips 754) everything works fine when playing a disc EXCEPT I now, every few seconds get the onscreen message " RC pass through is enabled" Great, just what I need but I don't need to be reminded constantly of the fact, do I? Can anyone suggest how to kill this message, please?

I just realized something, since Microsoft is releasing Project Scorpio which is a 4K console than wouldn't their have to be a 4k external/internal capture card to record 4k games?

When I'm not using the elgato, can I leave it all plugged in? Instead f unplugging it all etc. Atm when I'm not recording I just unplug the usb from computer and plus it into the ps4 as the screen won't appear with out the elgato having power?
