I remember the first time I didn't recognize my own face because of cysts.
I missed so much school that police came looking for me at home.
That's when I was finally taken to a doctors office.
It was all bad, no money, insurance, or a cure that was that.
Memories of my childhood are hard to come by.
No pictures of me after elementary school, no school dances, no nothing.
If I could do over, I would change everything, just for one day, just to see what having fun feels like.
