I just went to PD event where they gave us the book "THE First Days of School: How to be an Effective Teacher" by Harry Wong and Rosmerta Wong and it's amazing, the PD was amazing, and I'm so happy to see more real life examples of the first week of school!

I have been having those nervous thoughts resurface that I'm not cut out for this, I have no idea what I'm doing, everything is going to be a disaster, etc. But watching this really helped ease my tensions as the school year approaches--Thank you!

This eased my nerves a bit cause I'm going to start teaching high schoolers this year. Still not sure which social studies discipline I'll be given, but most likely global which is a subject area I have not had the experience teaching yet.
