As someone who has spent hundreds, probably even over a thousand hours on my sparrow, I can confidently say that sparrows are the movement tool in destiny with the highest skill ceiling, as I'm nowhere near the best sparrower, despite the amount of time I've spent. There are tons of various uses for sparrow tech, from OOBing to flying, to just pure fun.

Blink is so good. It’s actually really good for PVE. You are able to do a lot of things way better, like managing spacing with tormentors, going to and from cover, avoiding homing attacks, etc,

However your biggest weakness using blink? Parkour sections. I’ve been slowly getting better at the smaller parkour sections while using blink but you are smarter to just switch off blink during a parkour section.

I main blink but now that prismatic is a thing I don’t touch void anymore pairing phenix dive with blink is just so fun

I would have to agree with you there. Every single time I tell people I use blink warlock, they’re all like whyyyy. A lot of people think I’m hacking with often astrocyte lets you blink. I get called blinkbot so often; ever since I got decent at blink lmao. Still have a long way to go and the ceiling appears to be very high

I used to abuse blink with verse and glaives in pvp with they first came out. I dunno if my build would still work today tho, if glaive lunge was changed in anyway since then it definitely doesn't work anymore.

I wanted to put my hunter build but I accidentally pressed the back button so it wiped the subclass info so when I changed it back it wiped the whole build

Yea i agree with the blink bit
HOWEVER
Let me clarify a bit
Blink is the Highest skill ceiling tool in the game THAT IS INTENTIONAL
Now whislt skating exists its easy to learn and do
Sparrow fly, fairly easy to learn but takes time to get the hang of well enough for usage
Another sparrow tech however
Slipstream and Infinite Slipstreams
EASILY the hardest and most challenging tech to learn with highest ceiling out there in destiny with a large variety of use cases
BOTH OF THESE SPARROW TECHS AND SKATING WERE NOT INTENTIONAL DESPITE THEM STILL EXISTING IN THE GAME, THE DEVS LEAVE THEM ALONE BECAUSE ITS NEAT AND PEOPLE HAS USES FOR THEM BE IT FOR FUN/CASUAL OR FOR SPEEDRUNS

My only major gameplay complaint about Destiny has been, jumping puzzles do not factor blink into their creation and it very much annoys me
