I liked how they showed Grounding, I have seen it used by people I know who do have an anxiety attacks and I have used it myself.

Grounding can also be used during meltdowns, since the meltdowns often cause some senses to be heightened bc of the overstimulation that triggers the meltdown and pressing yourself against a solid surface (bedframes and walls work best for me) and focusing on positive sounds can calm the heightened senses with the familiarity of the pressure and noise.

if this method is not effective try petting a animal like in puss in boots when puss was having a anxiety attack his friend let puss pet his head for comfort and as a third opinion have friends and/or family members help you the worst thing to do is let it get to your head and shut everyone out but to be honest I am SO happy movies bring this kind of stuff attention. the world needs it

After my fifth anxiety attack, I decided to change my lifestyle completely, ranging from changing my diet to waking up earlier. After my sixth, I cut salt and sugar from my diet and curbed all electronic usage. I use grounding as well.

To calm an anxiety attack and this worked for me when I had them:
Close your eyes, take a deep breath and hold it in.
Count to five slowly, open your eyes/let out your breath do it 5/how much time you desire longer than 5 minutes.
Yes helped calm my adhd anxiety attack
Also learn mindfulness and meditation was another but meditation works only in the moment I do it, otherwise crisis survival skills in dbt is grand and has helped me out
