Solid state drives (SSDs) are the PC storage option that will completely replace hard drives in the coming years. They’re smaller, faster, quieter and often more reliable. They also come in a variety of shapes and sizes.

this was a great video...made me smile almost the entire time throughout the entire video... just seeing the visual graphs and their speed comparisons is alot of fun to ponder...I just very recently built a new high performance PC and I bought the new Western Digital Black Performance NVMe drive for my boot which does over 2, 000Mb Read and 700Mbs Write with over 170, 000 IOPS Read and 130, 000 IOPS Write... the thing is MONSTROUSLY QUICK. A 2Tb Western Digital Black Performance HDD is my main storage drive, which these new ones are unheard of fast for a Hard Drive, for now until I can afford to buy 2 - 1Terrabyte Samsung 970 Pro SSD's and drop them in Raid-0... I just bought 16Gb GSkill Trident-Z RGB DDR4-3200 16Cas Ram to back it up and a 6C/12T Intel Core i7 8700k CPU putting it all together... like I said, the machine is by far the fastest machine i've ever been on... and i've used everything from AMD Ryzen based computers to Alienware Desktops... nothing comes close... Rumor has it that Nvidia is releasing their "11" Series GPU's in a few months... I cannot wait... Then my machine will be YouTube Video Review Ready!!!
