Funny thing about Barretts I had was the doctor said it would never go away even though it was a tiny little spot so they decided to monitor it every year. After 3 years where they could not find the spot again so I stopped getting ugd's

Had an oesophagectomy, 2 months ago as cancer was found (Ivor Lewis method). After about 10 weeks now I am regaining my strength and fitness. I am also eating pretty much normally, just smaller meals. They have me on Nivolumab now which is an immunotherapy drug. How effective is this procedure in dealing with cancer.

BUT what was the cause of his cancer? If you haven't rectified the cause then it could come back.
