This woman is right. He has attacked education the same way. He has steered 8th graders to go to community colleges with adults as students who have "fallen thru the cracks" and don't fit the current school process. In doing so these students are deprived of team sports, prom, and social activities. He is a dangerous, sick man. He is a subtle dictator who works behind the scenes. He says that Americans should do the jobs that require intelligence and the rest of the world should be the brawn and do the dirty work. He has helped eliminate jobs that Americans could do who don't want to go to college and don't have a college degree. He is destroying the middle class and hence destroying why everyone in the world wants to come to America instead of building their own middle class. I am the first person in my immediate family who graduated from college. I was able to do that because my high school gave me enough education that I could get a job without a college degree. I was forty-five when I got my first college degree as I refused to borrow the money to go. But was able then to get a higher-paying job to pay for my masters degree. I came from a large, poor family. But there was no "victim" thinking. We qualified for government assistance but my parents were too proud to take it. Gates has done more to hurt the world than help. And why? How many houses, airplanes, etc. Is enough. How much more ego does he need? I'm off to get her book.
