I'm binge watching. Great to have the Star Trek franchise back. However Discovery is all over the place with sci-fi created problems solved by convoluted sci-fi solution.

Thanks for this. Just been trying to watch ep2 of Discovery and just can't continue cause of insanely bad acting of Burnham and silly plot points. It looks like it's definitely not getting any better. What a time saver this has been.

I've never really watched Discovery, but I can see that I wouldn't like it. It looks insane in a bad way. I think it has too many horror elements in it that ST just shouldn't have and feels like space high fantasy rather than pure sci-fi (time crystals?). Another thing done wrong.

I’ve been looking at recaps for all the shows I watch and this was one of the best recaps I’ve seen.. you get straight to the point (no major theories, no references to bs that has nothing to do with what happened in the season etc.) and you have pictures of everything your explaining while you explain! A recap is so the viewers can either get a better understanding of what happened in the show or more importantly, to review the the previous season quickly without watching the entire previous season.. Great job!! SUBSCRIBED LOL

Man I completely forgot about this show. Thanks for the recap. It was garbage but I am still curious if Season 3 is better. I might watch the first episode since I already saw seasons 1 and 2.

Much like pretty much every other trek series it took awhile for me a warm this series..longer than all of the other series...i started watching when it was first released but i fell off after the first 6 episodes or so and didn't start again for awhile then i finished season 1 and paused again even longer and started season 2 earlier this year and i struggled to get thru the first 6 episodes before episode 7 and especially episode 8(still my favorite of the series so far) came to the rescue and the last 6 episodes have held my interest and I'm on the finale now.. hopefully season 3 holds my attention but most of the cast i now like..they did a good job making Airiam likable before then getting rid of her and most of the rest of the background members have grown on me a bit but the series still lacks the soul of trek but hopefully that'll come in season 3 ... fortunately they made the very smart decision to send the crew to the far future as the 22nd, 23rd and 24th season has been done and when i first heard that this series would be set around TOS i thought to myself Big Mistake..luckily they haven't totally messed shit up...i understand Retcons and adding things to the Canon later on but too many things like Spock's sister who we never heard of before or the Spore Drive that could've gotten Voyager home in the blink of an eye never being mentioned and it seems no explanation is being given for why no one uses it in the future other than it's messing up the species that live in the network but hopefully they'll explain in the next season or something cuz that's something that really irks me. I'm still confused about some the time travel aspects and the Klingons being the guardians of the time crystals is pretty stupid to me..they should've made the guardians be some unknown species or at the very least make it harder to obtain one then just showing up and saying i need this to save the galaxy and I'm not leaving without it..ash even mentions that klingons would to get their hands on Time Travel ...well they have plenty of them ..they should've at least made the crystals extremely rare and hard to get but I'm yappin overall I'll borrow from the spill crew give this season a matinee (pretty much 7/10) but i hope it gets better

Great recap but if I could make a suggestion to slow it down a little? I know it's fashionable to cut every last breath out of Youtube vids these days but a clear pause for breath between each substantial point just gives the viewer a second to digest what they've been told. Without that gap you find yourself missing the start of the next point as you're clarifying the previous one for yourself.
