Hey, I just wanted to thank you for all the work you've been putting in - I appreciate all the reviews, and I love your vids that cover multifaceted, cmplex topcs such as morale, wilderness explorations etc. But he best thing you did for me and our gaming group is bringing up the concept of BrOSR, Scaling and Abstraction and GURPS long lost cousin, ACKS, which is a great place for those concepts to thrive. There are many things I would like to ask and to discuss, and whereas I don't like the childish absolutism and reductionism of some of the BrOSR guys, I love how committing to emergent play and player agency has transformed our whole game! I've always loved to integrate rules and mechanics of various games into a coherent whole, and thanks to you we can do that on a whole new level (MERP, GURPS & ACKS). But that's only the beginning, as I feel that one also should consider that the classic three approaches to gaming aren't as mutually exclusive as the various "my or the highway" factions want us to velieve :)

"The secret is that the hobby doesn't need the industry" I was almost screaming at the scream hearing this, this one sentence summarizes by thoughts perfectly on how so many - too many - in the hobby are almost obsessed by the most recent edition of the games out there, and how D&D is seen as the be all end all for the entire hobby in every aspect and situation and discussion.

This alone confirms my thoughts that this is one of my favorite smaller TTRPG channels out there, and I don't even play GURPS.
