🤔 Is the 2025 Subaru Crosstrek the adventure vehicle you've been waiting for?

I’ve had my bare bones (except for &100 trailer hitch), $19, 640 MSRP (after $2, 750 ‘22-‘23 rollover credit) for 2 years in 3 days. I loved it from day one, and still do after almost 20K miles. I’ve had minimal issues, nothing that left me stranded.

Sounds like this is a hit job provided by Hyundai.

I have a 2023 hybrid XLT with 25, 000 miles and zero problems. I'm getting 40 Miles per gallon which is why I bought it. It has plenty of get up and go and I'm pretty much 80 mph Everywhere I Go.

My 2 year old 2023 Maverick hybrid has 20, 000 miles, and its lifetime average fuel economy is 42 MPG. I have roughly a 50/50 mix of highway and city miles. Close to 600 miles per 13.8 gallon tankful.

I have a 2024 Maverick XL with the Ecoboost engine. It is a great truck that rides and handles very good. It is averaging between 29 and 30 miles per gallon. I don't need a bigger truck with all the bells and whistles. The build quality on my truck is just fine. No rattles or complaints!

What part of small truck you don't get don't compare this to midsize truck, people buy it because it's a small not mid-size, and stop comparing it to Hyundai Santa Cruz which is a totally different truck

Where are all these Mavericks that are being sold?

Going on 3 years in June of 2025, now with 50k miles, the truck runs like new. I just changed tires and battery, and maybe in a few months, I'll do the breaks.

The hybrid has a whopping 190 combined HP! I am used to 52 HP VW 80s diesels. Worked fine even on the highway. Then I got a VW turbodiesel, with lots of power and pep with its 90 HP, 149 ft.-lb. of torque. But with the Maverick, I routinely almost NEVER go over 20% power. Highway on ramps have plenty of length to accelerate at a steady 20% power to get to highway speeds.

I have a 2024 AWD Maverick. I like the truck and have 7K on it. It rides great, and it is easier to park than my old F150. It also fits my needs

Yet to find a fault with my 2024 Ford marverick XL hybrid. I bought it for it's fuel efficiency and it has delivered. So far, no complaint.

Is it right for me? The hybrid model is the ONLY truck less that 4000 lbs that you can tow 4 wheels down behind an RV. None of the others mentioned and broadly considered a competitor qualify PERIOD! It is the only choice in the truck segment, otherwise someone would have to go to a small group of SUV's that would be approved by the manufacturer for 4 down towing.

27, 000 mi first edition Maverick hybrid lariat. The brakes do grab at low speed, the transmission will come into a neutral when at a traffic light on a slight incline and clunk when engaging. Same engine start battery issues that everybody else seems to be talking about! Engine failure issue and batteries are covered by 10-year 100, 000 mi warranty. 36.7 mile per gallon average, AC runs non-stop in Texas which sucks the Go-Go juice! Overall, happy with the little pickup and it will not be leaving this family anytime soon!

It will be one year on January 26th since taking delivery of my 2024 XLT $27, 149.00. I LOVE IT. Coming from a 2002 Dodge Neon, I needed a truck for my home and garden projects. Before Ford introduced the Maverick, I looked at used midsized trucks like the Colorado. They were very difficult to find, and when I did find one, it was on a lifted package. I take my mother to run errands and appointments. I am also getting long in the tooth, and I don't need to try any kind of climbing. So, easy access and egress is a factor. Then there is price. I got the XLT with the minimum option package just for the full-size spare tire, and it is still under 30K. I don't tow. There is no need for a towing package. I'm not looking to move logs around my quarter acre property. As for reliability, it's better than the Neon. A Bluetooth adapter from Amazon took care of the lack of copilot 360. I am enjoying the remote start from the app along with all of the other app features. After 7, 189 miles and 11 months, 10 days of ownership. I have no complaints. Will I buy again? Yes, I would buy another 2024. I hate the new front facia and screen in the 2025.

I love my 23 XL Hybrid. Not one issue after 30k miles. There has been a couple of software updates but nothing has broken yet !! It’s all I need for a city truck

For being a bare bones XL, my '23 Maverick hybrid has very respectable standard features, such as cloth seats, air conditioning, power windows, cruise control, automatic transmission. For my pre-ordered 1995 F-150, I had to pay EXTRA for all these things.

2023 XLT EB. A/C out (12 days at dealer), keyless entry not working (5 visits to dealership to repair), remote start isn't dependable, numerous recalls some with no fix insight. 10k miles
