I'm definitely on board with this. It's about damn time a smaller and affordable truck was sold again.

Scotty usually rags on anything built in Mexico. Scotty must be in a good mood today. This pickup looks very good. Time will tell.😇

I work with the Park Rangers in California and this truck can HANDLE. We just got three of these and I thought it wouldn’t be able to climb trails and drive down rocky paths as well as the bigger pickups, but it’s proven me wrong. Great power delivery and MPG.

I've had my Hybrid Maverick for 2 months now and LOVE it. I'm averaging 43mpg and have only filled it up twice since buying it!!

I’ve had my Maverick for a little over 3 months. It’s a AWD XLT ecobeast. I’m about to roll over 10k miles. I live in Midwest and it’s done everything I bought it for. It handles pretty decent in inclement weather. The continental tires are good highway tires but are subpar in snow etc. I work for the railroad and I travel a 100 miles a day and use it to haul odds and ends stuff. I have a family of 4 that easily fits in it if needed. No you’re not gonna haul 10k lbs or tow a house with it but just for running around and hauling smaller stuff it’s perfect and with today’s fuel prices it was a win. In my opinion, these are more like the old Rangers. So if you liked the older rangers, you’d probably like these.

I really like the Maverick. It's capable enough to do everything about 90% of truck owners need and it's under $20k.

Honestly, I can't wait to get this truck in a few years on the used market. A fuel efficient small truck would be much more practical for me than any other. I hope it does well and opens up a market for trucks this size. A tiny Toyota Tacoma hybrid would be perfect

I just got my 2024 yesterday. You don’t have to use the start stop feature. Turns off with a push of a button on the arm console. All its features are very customizable. Very nice ride and very quiet. When I turned the key I didn’t think it started. Very impressed on my first ride.

I work at HSAP where this car and the Bronco Sport are made. Both models have been so well accepted by customers that we are working overtime to meet the demand.

I've owned a 2022 Maverick, with the eco boost engine, for three months and I'm very happy with the truck so far.
The bed is only four and a half feet long, but the tailgate is designed to lock in place at the same level as the wheel well, which allowed me to easily carry three sheet of plywood home from Home Depot.

If we weren’t in a supply chain crunch I could see this truck very quickly becoming one of the most popular models.

The Hermosillo plant is one of Ford's best production facilities. According to Ford Authority they are the top North American Ford plant. So far the quality of the new mavericks and baby bronco has been excellent.

I've had my XLT AWD FX4 with 4k tow for a week now. Really love it! Quick, light handling and handles like my Mustang did. Very sure footed in the wet or dry. GREAT AWD system. First tank got almost 29 mpg in mixed driving. And up to 34 mph hiway on back roads. I will admit I'm the old guy in the right lane doing the speed limit. Drive like a angry youngster and YMMWV! ;-) But its an awesome vehicle for a grandpa with errands to run.

I have a 2015 VW Golf I purchased new and was dismayed to find out it was made in Mexico as I thought I was purchasing a German car. 110, 000 miles later it’s needed no repairs, runs like a dream, and doesn’t even rattle over bumps. I think the Mexican autoworkers know what they’re doing and I’d trust them wholeheartedly. My “Deutschland” built BMW gave me more problems in 20, 000 miles than this car ever has!

My 2006 Lincoln Zephyr was built in Mexico. Bought it new. Approaching 300K miles. Best car I ever had. I don't usually keep a car over 5 years but this17 year car is still going strong.

Agree totally with Scotty the knob transmission selector and electronic parking brake not my favorite. But finally a decent price on a cute truck. Car makers need to realize that and start building affordable, reliable, economical safe vehicles.

I'm an F 150 owner my last one I kept for 10 yrs 280 k miles all original no issues. I have 2017 F 150 with 120 K miles no problems. Hopefully the Maverick will do well over time. I may buy a used one couple yrs down the road. Would love to see this guy bring it back to you 5-6 yrs from now see how it's doing.

I like my Maverick, upgraded from a 2012 Kia rio. Nearly 3000 miles on it already going from RI to NH and just driving all the time. The truck drives nice and I hope it last some good years.

I love Mr Kilmers reviews! Always entertaining and even though he bashes on some brands that I have had exceptional experience with, it’s his personality that makes him the kind of guy I would love to hang out with and just talk cars with.. he’s honest, probably the most honest of any mechanic I have ever met.. thank you scotty for all the content, I truly appreciate your perspective, opinion and experience!
