PowerMac G3: Installing Mac OS X Tiger

Decided to upgrade to 10.4 Tiger on my G3!

This video was released long before Mountain Lion, and months before Lion. I had the latest version of OS X at the time (Snow Leopard) installed on my Mac Pro. Tiger is the maximum OS that's supported on a PowerPC G3 system. This is VERY up to date taking the CPU into consideration ;)

I love OS X Tiger, not the best version, because i think the best version of OS X is Snow Leopard, stable, beautiful, doesn't spy you, doesn't fucking social networking integration, run on low hardware (an Core Duo computer can run it)
I am actually running Tiger on PowerMac G5 Quad with 16Gb of RAM and GeForce FX 4500 card with 2 30inch Cinema Display 2560x1600 :D

hey i've been trying to upgrade my g3 from 10.2 to 10.4 for ages. i'm pretty sure we have the same specs and stuff. do you think you can point me in the right direction on where to get a solid version of tiger and whether or not its better to upgrade to 10.3 first? thanks.

The music from the Tiger intro video is probably my favourite (although I've only heard the music from it, Jaguar, Panther and Leopard/Snow Leopard)

I think this PowerMac G3 performs so well because he upgraded it to a gig of RAM. this proves that old computers are not junk. we need to be less wasteful.
