High treatment costs stop Americans from testing for coronavirus

The coronavirus pandemic is exposing the cracks in the United States healthcare system.
In a country where paid sick leave is the exception, self-isolation means economic hardship.
And the high cost of treatment leaves many reluctant to get tested.
This is all contributing to the spread of the virus and intensified the debate around free healthcare.

I live in poor developing country and yet we give free test and free treatment for infectious disease patient.. for education in public university, government pay half of it.. and half of it you can pay it using education loans from the government.. i should be gtateful

It is FREE in Turkey. Corona test and ıf you get pozitive also your treatment is FREE. I lived in U.S 6 years. Health care sysyem is far better in Turkey.
