I'm so sad. I think Justin and Clay were genuinely platonic soulmates, and it was a way deeper and more real relationship than he had with Hannah - it's kind of the real love story of the show.

To everyone who have been traumatized by Justin's death, who actually struggle with anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, sorrow and pain...I want you to know, it's okay. It's okay to be deeply moved by a show, it's okay to feel intense pain when a character you love die, and no one has the right to tell you how to feel about it. Yes, he is a fictional character but there are millions of Justin around the world who deal with the same issues, and emotions are real. If you are deeply hurt by his death, I want you to know you are not alone, I understand you, I send you all my love and support and I encourage you to talk about it and express your feelings.


And, most important, I want you to know it's okay to rewrite the story in your head, it's okay to pretend he did not die, it's not an escape from difficulties in life, it is your way to survive. If you truly understood the message of the show, how important it is to take care of yourself and your loves ones, then It's entirely legitimate to give Justin a real happy ending. He managed to survive, he managed to change, it has been a long and hard journey but he finally understood he was deeply loved and supported. He represents all the kids who struggled with so many things but who found in themselves the courage and the desire to live. If his story inspires you, if you identify with him, if he gives you hope and makes you proud, Then I want you to know it's okay to give him a real happy ending, there is no guilt to have.

I do, and It reduces the pain and gives me hope for the futur :-)

I had a friend who was more like my brother. I was the addict, and he was the one who pulled me back from the edge every time. I lost him about a year ago, and watching Clay and Justins bromance through these seasons always made me smile. Then seeing Justin die and some of the things they said to each other made me break down, not ashamed to admit it. That being said, this is a beautiful edit, and i am once again in tears.

A very sad and dramatic ending to a brotherly relationship that certainly had its ups and downs but they really cared for each other and I bet overall it was very emotional for the cast also. Being accepted into a family he really never had probably happens more than we realize. The picture Justin got for Christmas with Clay and his parents with him in it meant so much to him. Just think how many kids need adopted to a loving family. The storyline was well written but it appears very sad for many of the followers of the series.

I wish we couldn't ended up like that. i really cried during this scene. I have a best friend, no a brother just like clay and justine. We first hated each other due to misuderstanding. Now we treated each other like we couldn't leave a conversation. I can't be happy without him and he as well. He introduced me in his family. His mom loves me, his father lovesme as well like their own son. He even introduced me to his friends and say the same exact words - he's my brother, my positive influence. He didn't watch 13 reasons why. As we watch this scene i asked if he would hold my hand if we ended up like that? He hugged me and cried, "please brother don't leave me please". i replied " nah, that won't happen" . i won't end uo like justin and you will never be alone bro". Someone tells me also that we have a strong bond, stronger than blood. That's why when i watched this scene, it's really heartbreaking and relatable to us.

They love each other so much and argue and act like a married couple. They are literally the best people ever happen to this series and Justin was in a very toxic relationship with Jessica and Clay is pretty much single and they are meant to be with each other.

I think they should have made an episode of Justin adoption becoming legal. At least before he died, his name would be Justin Jensen. That way the audience would say they are truly BROTHERS
