LA man exonerated of murder after spending 20 years in prison

A Los Angeles man who was wrongfully convicted of murder after spending 20 years behind bars is now suing the county and local sheriff's department, according to his lawyer.

Hmmm, strange. I am sure that this was the only person wrongly convicted via illegal methods of these LA sheriffs. I am sure they were completely ethical in their jobs, except for this one, single time. No need to look at all the other cases that these sheriffs participated in. It was a fluke. I am totally sure that this isn't a systemic problem. I am sure this is the only time the highly honorable and ethical LA Sheriff's office has had something like this happen. No problem's here, just move along.
