Well, if you watch the dash cam, you’d know exactly why he was shot

It's just heartbreaking. Just awful. You can't even choke cops out without them shooting you dead these days. What has this country come to

The video shows clearly what led to it. He acted foolish, attacked the deputy and the deputy defended himself… you can try and spin it but the truth is what it is. Had he pulled over the first time he turned his signal on and just taken his ticket he’d still be breathing. He didn’t though, he made bad decisions and he got what he got.

Condolences to the officer. Tried to protect innocents on the road from a man driving recklessly at 100 miles.and hour, gets attacked by said man, and is now being portrayed as the bad guy for defending his life.

They call for the video. 95% of the time they regret asking for the video because it shows the officer was justified. We'll see when they release the body cam.

I’m against excessive force and police brutality. This case is not it. The police officer used the least amount of force building up to the lethal force as he was struggling and fighting for his own life. Cure made very poor decisions. Should’ve just taken the ticket or whatever penalty was coming his way for excessive speeding. I understand his fear of cops and him being wrongfully imprisoned. It doesn’t give him a pass with future law enforcement interactions. Cure cannot behave in the manner that he did without consequences. So sad all the way around.

He probably had PTSD from being falsely imprisoned. This is wrong. God rest his soul.

The guy attacked the police officer. The police officer could not handle him one-on-one after tasing him that's why the man was shot. He was acting bizarre like he was on something or epileptic

He must not have been so innocent after all.

Let's see the body cam video! It's not complicated.

The man was defiant from the beginning as if the deputy wasn't allowed to pull him over. To be non compliant, verbally, and then physically aggressive are all paths that the deputy didn't choose to take but were dealt to him by this very narrow-minded man. Unfortunately, it ended with this man's death. Now, the deputy is forced to continue on and live with the unnecessary stigma of taking someone's life.
Condolences to the deceased family. I pray that the dead man's family realize that the deputy exercised restraint and was absolutely professional in carrying out his duties. May God be with him and all that are affected.

That deputy did what he had to do to protect his life.. That's all there is to it.. I pray that he finds the strength to move forward from this tragedy.

Its very strange to watch the footage of the event before watching the news coverage. They have not seen the video so they couldn't know that he assaulted the officer and was drive 100 miles per hour. But they will say he is a good man. I have never seen a good man grab someone by the face like that. I don't like the current justice system. You can't just act anyway you want to a peace officer. Stand up for your rights but don't be evil.
