Today I review the Ancel S100 smoke tester machine on our high mileage E93 M3 to look for vacuum leaks in the glass intake plenum system. This diagnostic tool works for any BMW to find boost leaks, exhaust leaks, and evap leaks very easily. The smoke testing kit is mostly complete, but you will need some mineral oil and an air compressor source to push the smoke through the intake manifold.

Overall, this product is easy to use and cost effective, so I recommend it for not just BMWs, but any car in general. Thanks so much for watching and supporting our channel!

This channel has been super helpful for me and my m3. The o2 sensor, the dct fluid, and now this. Ive been getting a lean code and couldnt find the source of my problem.. so lets look at smoking it to find a leak. Voila found this video. Turns out my plenum is leaking.

Very nice! I remember looking at buying one of these smoke machines years ago in the 90's, but they were very expensive. Never really thought about it again. Glad to see that they are very affordable now, and that this Ancel unit seems to work very well! Also glad to see that you didn't find any leaks on your car. Thanks for showing us this, for the great review and also for the discount coupon. I love your thumbnail for this vid BTW. Judging by the look on your face, that might be the more enjoyable way to produce the smoke instead?? LOL!

This looks like a great tool for my Jeep with evap codes. This is definitely affordable compared to a shop.
