How to Use Smoke Tester to Find EVAP leaks | Audi 2.0T P0455 & P0456 Common Cause | Ancel 1000 Smoke
Показать описание
In today's video we are testing this 2009 Audi A4 2.0T for vacuum leaks after having several fault codes showing up. A vacuum leak not only causes a Evap Error codes to appear, but can also cause misfiring, rough idle, poor mpg, and even put your beloved car into LIMP mode in an effort to protect itself.
A vacuum leak allows too much oxygen to enter the system past the critical sensors usually. So now all these sensors are having a false reading or trying to compensate for this extra air in the system. This is why your car can run so rough when this happens.
Often times folks just start replacing parts. Replacing hundreds of dollars' worth of parts only to have the same issue pop up since it was a vacuum leak the whole time. A smoke tester is a cheap way to properly diagnose your car BEFORE you start replacing parts. I wish I had one of these much sooner!
