I've always thought that the player should be able to run against Lewis in a mayor election cause he's not doing shit for the community. Like go around and build up hearts with the villagers but in competition against Lewis. The player does more for the economy and overall wellbeing of Pelican Town then Lewis ever does. As for the festivals, Gus cooks all the food, I think Emily has dialogue about making the jackolantern decorations, implying that she and other villagers do the decorating, the Wizard designed the maze for Spirit's Eve, Willy has dialogue about helping hide the eggs for the egg festival, implying that it's usually some sort of team effort, and Pierre or the Traveling Cart run the shops. Like the only thing with the festivals that Lewis actually does is announce the start/end times of certain events, judge the garange display, and try to butter up the Govener at the Luau. Look at how nice his house is while directly behind him, Pam and Penny live in a mobile home (which the player and Robin end up fixing). Lewis has done literally nothing but make a statue of himself and gaslight Marnie into believing that their relationship would somehow be a scandal. The player is already the defacto mayor, but I want to run an election campaign lmao

The ones that invented the "X is Sebastian father" theory feel like they haven't even played the game. He says that his father went to Zuzu to follow a more exciting life style because he was going crazy living in the calmness of the village, so definitely no NPC in the village is his father.

something that always got me curious is the relationship dynamics of linus and the wizard. you see them together (or at least near each other) when you attend spirit’s eve and festival of ice. however, when reading their dialogue scripts, there isn’t any clear signs that they’ve known or met each other in any capacity.

Most of the Sebastian dad theories don’t make sense. Shane being the dad doesn’t make sense because neither he, Robin, Demetrius, or Seb make mentions of each other that imply that Shane has any connection to the family. And personally I think Shane would be too young as a think he’s more late twenties early thirties and Seb is supposed to be college age.
Krobus doesn’t make sense because we don’t even know if a human and shadow person couple can even have kids or if they would even look human. and the majority of the villagers don’t know that shadow people actually exist or if they do most shadow people have been hostile to humans anyways.
Seb is just a sad boy who has divorced parents, feels detached from his family, and is unsure what to do with his life. It’s really not that far fetched why he tends to like the darker aesthetic.

When you marry, your partner doesn't always stay on the farm. Harvey still goes to the clinic, Sebastian goes and sees his mum, Elliott goes for walks around town, he even has a heart even not long after you marry where he leaves for a week. They still do things.

I wish Stardew Valley gets a few more playable areas and expands into the ones we have. The Secret Woods are actually minimal, I would've expected the area to be kinda like the cave in the quarry, but it's just your daily hardwood dispenser; the area where the Flower Dance happens is entirely unplayable outside of the event; the Calico Desert is essentially an area with Sandy's store and the Skull Cavern, among other places which seem like they'd be interesting to explore.

A fun fact about the broken glasses thing. When you gift Evelyn a pair of broken glasses, she thanks you and tells you how she had been looking for them the entire time. So it's pretty much confirmed it's Evelyn who's throwing them away (also, she must be loaded, being able to afford so many glasses)

The "you ruined your spouse's life" theory is still so strange to me. You mention that the spouse is "ripped away from their family and friends, " but like, Sebastian visits his family every Monday and still hangs out with Sam and Abigail on Fridays. How is it any different to the real world where partners live together and visit family/friends on occasion? Maybe I'm just uninformed and other spouses don't leave the farm of their own will.
