OMG!! I was ready to jump off the Chaffle train until you came up with the Batter Buster recipe! This is the one! I made them today and so crispy and non distinctive flavor which works great for sandwiches.. it doesn’t take away from the chicken salad for example but has that crispy toasted bread.. I can add seasonings for Italian bread, a savory rosemary.. the possibilities at endless!! I crown you the Chaffle King!

If you like whole wheat flavor, I stumbled upon an absolute game changer! I ran out of almond flour and substituted almond butter. No egg flavor and it tastes like whole wheat bread!! It's seriously delicious. I used a whole egg, 2 tablespoons of almond butter, and a half teaspoon of baking powder, a tablespoon of heavy cream. It's perfect! Sorry, no cheese.

I just did something so brilliant I’ve tried doing this before with many other keto recipes and it always tasted terrible. I had a brain storm!! This time I did my fave savory chaffle recipe. Used one room temperature egg 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese pinch of salt pinch of oregano to give it to Jersey Mike’s flavor and a little bit of water put it in my ninja bullet until it smooth & thin and I put it in a 12 inch lightly oiled skillet medium heat and made it as thin as I could. Took two spatulas to flip it but once it cooled I smeared cream cheese on the top and put sliced turkey and sliced cheese and I rolled it up oh my gosh it was heavenly I dont miss bread and tortillas anymore

I FINALLY made my first chaffles today (found a little waffle maker at Walmart for $10). I used one whole egg and 1/2 C of mozzarella. I cooked one just like that and to the other one I added a tsp of nutritional yeast. The plain one was great, nice and soft. The second was also great just slightly more crispy. I loved them both and had my first sandwich in 5 months--WooHoo! Thanks for your wonderful videos.

Definitely going to try the Egg Buster Chaffle for sandwich bread! I hope you know how much all of your viewers enjoy your videos and especially enjoy your research, developing and testing the chaffle recipes you bring us. It is a lot of work in each step including editing and uploading the videos. You save us time and expense in failed attempts at chaffles which don't live up to expectations. Thank you for being our "Chaffle King"!

In my limited chaffle experience, using sharp cheddar and cooking them 5-6 minutes, I can't taste ANY egginess. BTW, another great shirt, Steve!

Absolutely enjoy listening to your Keto videos especially about chaffles. Thank you so much—love your presentations, they are short enough and to the point.

Just tried the recipe with the fiber, yeast, etc. Not bad at all! It does have a bread like taste and feel. I really love your chaffle experiments. Keep them coming!

I made the “Egg Flavor Destroyer” version tonight. I made meatballs, then cooked them in Rau’s Marinara sauce. My husband (non-Keto) was having standard noodles, so I really wanted something to put under my meatballs and sauce. Enter the “Destroyer”. Delicious! I know if any stranger were to see me eating meatballs on what looks like waffles, they would think I was crazy, but it was amazing! Thank you as always!

After seeing your review on the dash waffle maker and this recipe, I just placed the order for the waffle maker. I also ordered the corn dog maker as well.

We just started making eggs benny and this fits perfect! We can use the yolks for the hollandaise sauce (which is much easier to make than I had originally thought) and the whites for the chaffle to set the poached egg on! I shudder to waste a yolk!!
