1) how is redundancy achieved ?
2) efficiency and noise compared to the same volume of axial fans ?
3) what happens when there is a power failure ?

Love the look from the side. Looks sort of like an old T Bucket. I'd immediately paint the sides of the rotors to look like old school mags and tires, then mount a small block chevy with a 6-71 blower on it, LOL.

Gave you a thumbs up for the idea. However, people cannot be trusted to fly air vehicles responsibly when they cannot be trusted to drive land vehicles responsibly. How do we know? Experience. Any air vehicle must be regulated to professionals only. Even as the events of 911 has taught us. Please don’t take this personally, but don’t be naïve in thinking and trusting that humans will not try to misuse this product. Humans are inherently, imperfect, and rebellious. Tell them not to do something and they’ll do it.

Every propulsion type has a sweet spot where it performs best, it will take time and practice to see where this is leading. Maybe practice with big drones before passengers, I hear Ukraine is looking for good drones.

How safe is your design? The first question in my mind is the amount of forces being applied to each aileron in each rotor? Have you found out how long of an operation cycle it can safely be run at before each rotor would need to be replaced/maintained?
