Eli, I am 21 days fully raw mainly fruit after doing high raw for a year. I am so happy and grateful to have come across this. I had done lots of research but didn't know that shelled edamame is generally blanched. I loved edamame because it felt like I could see myself eating it as a great ape and beans feel naturally human to me. I have actually not yet tried fava beans ever and I am really happy to hear I can have them raw. Lots of sources online say not to do raw edamame and I felt so weird about that. Thanks for helping clear that up!

I have a few questions for you, but first of all I was just going to ask you where you get starch from... because my body really needs starch. I tried to eat only melon and managed around 30 days and that's it. Then the body really demanded starch. So I ate a potato. Over time I learned that I could eat fresh corn for starch and protein, and now I was taught about beans.

And here are my questions.
1. Do you eat beans [\other legumes] on a daily or weekly basis?
2. What are all the sources from which you get the starch in your diet?
3. What does fresh beans taste like? sweet? salty? neutral?
4. Do you not sometimes, or rarely eat some potato or rice or other food that has been heated?

Looking forward to your honest reply, thank you.

I’m gonna grow these this year, I’ll grow a ton so save as dry food too, can you eat sprouted ones raw?

That's some old fava beans(it have a black eye) you should get a more younger and tender ones, more sweet and creamy!
Or you should come to Portugal and taste ones at my farm(in two months), I plant those types of plants just for selling,
I would prefer just fruit but it's a family farm...

But they're beans and designed to produce the next generation of plants just like nuts. Doesn't this make them other than human food?
