What's even easier is putting pink noise at a level of -6db on your master and turning the master level to -12db so it's not too loud while mixing. Then mute all tracks and begin to bring the tracks in one by one.
Every track should be at roughly the same level as the pink noise and no track should be more noticable then the others against the pink noise.
After having done that remove the pink noise and voila... You've got your levels well balanced.

damn, if i can figure this trick out it would help me figure out what my tracks could use, or what needs to be removed. the full video you made on it was wonderful, but i kinda got lost when you brought up the tonal balance program and did things with that. seems like it can be a difficult topic, ill have to learn about it. too bad i can never seem to make full songs, i always get stuck making short loops recently. i dont really know how to put my feelings and emotions into my songs. perhaps im just not that creative, or i lack inspiration and motivation. what a shame, but i dont plan on giving music up just yet. i definitely need to reference other songs and use them as a guide.

Just get total balance control and skip all that mess and add an Eq and compressor with a slow attack and quick release for a warm soft balanced sound that matches the genre you are going for…

If u have Ozone 10, u could just load the noise profile into it and ozone will automatically adjust your track to this.

**Have any proper option to link playlist with mixer channel ? When I Will arrange my tracks according to my instrument & vox with shift + scroll down & up on that same time mixer also arrange automatically with my playlist. Is it possible in my fl studio? Please tell I'm facing problems on this matter and lots of time wasting to edit and arrange tracks making busing in mixing time .

Shouldn't this technique be best used for "loudness balance" for specific frequencies rather than "EQing" frequencies in a mix? I've heard that a "perfectly eq balanced mix" doesn't actually always sound the best for a track.
