In This Video We Will Talk About: We will be fixing muddy sounding snare. We will find the right curve with SSL 4000E EQ but we will think it's wrong. Find out why! Then we will check how many people start with the wrong level and how it brings them the wrong decisions for EQ curves. Then we will try to fix low mids of a synthesizer. We will find a great EQ curve but we will not approve it. Check out why! Using Tube Tech CL1B we will compare Long Attack VS Short Attack for the heavy bass guitar in the heave rock song. But we will make the wrong decisions. Find out why!
Also check how a compressor really works with diagrams and view each peak of a waveform. We will check if it's fair to compare more compression VS less compression. Then we will try to choose which Pultec EQ plugin is your favorite one. But we will find out how plugin manufacturers cheat you with this. UAD Pultec Legacy VS UAD Pultec EQP-1A VS Waves PuigTech. Then we will check how to make punchy kick drum in EDM beat with FabFilter Pro-C2. And why we don't choose the best compressor setting! Then we will compare CL1B VS 1176 Compressor for vocals. Why we chose CL1B which it's really worse for that example. Find out why why it's worse and why we chose it!

!!! I use the most fair approach. No prepayments. You get a free trial class which is a real-time class with my current students who are taking the course right now. If you like it, you enroll. But still no payments in advance. You will pay only after you start the course and you can do it during the first week of a month. Not in advance. Also we have monthly payments only. So you don't pay for the whole course. I will be proving that it's the top quality education class by class to keep you enrolled in. 99% of students finish all 9 months of the course. I've been doing it like that for 8 years in a row. Get the Free Trial class - it's a fair approach!

When I was studying at Andrew's mixing course, I remember well how he teached us make comparison always at the same volume level, that means after applying any processing on your instrument/track you have to always compensate volume level. But more important before applying anything is to find right balance between instruments and then decide if you really need any compression or EQ. Thank you very much Andrew for great content!😎😀

As usual, this is a gem of a video where you can see how deep Andrew's knowledge goes and how good he is when teaching audio engineering. Make yourself a favor an attend the trial class, you won't regret it. I have learned so much more in his course than what I have learned in the previous 10 years. Thank you, Andrew!

I have only one problem with Andrew, he teach so straight to the point, that you have not other option then just memorize everything what he says. Thanks.

It took me years of mixing to understand the importance of volume compensation when adding plugins and referencing other tracks to compare my work. Mastered tracks are typically so much louder than a final mix, so it's harder to reference than some people make it seem. Thanks for the explanation on these topics!
