Renovate with me in Italy! Rating my husband's dump finds: Part 1
Показать описание
As we renovate our Italian house, we've found a surprising resource in our local dump. Rate things my husband has brought home from the dump as we renovate our home on a tight budget:
Belfast-style sink: Exactly what we wanted for the kitchen, in great condition, and locally made. 10/10.
Butcher’s blocks: Past their prime, but they make great backyard beverage tables. 8/10.
Tabletop & doorframe pieces: Turned into a sturdy workshop table. Practical and durable. 9/10.
China cabinet: Salvaged from damaged furniture and repurposed as an outdoor glassware cabinet. Worked perfectly for a party. 9/10.
Used toilet & bidet: The toilet is fine, but the bidet is unnecessary since we’re opting for a shatafa. Depending on who cleans it, 4-6/10.
Free finds are a lifesaver on this project. At this rate, we might not have to buy any home furnishings at all!
