Mind-blowing animations, I could have just stayed in India 🤯
But seriously, thank you for this unforgettable experience. 🙏
Whenever you need someone to go into the middle of absolutely nowhere again, I’m ready!

The man in the car talking about how much easier life has gotten from one, simple, dirt road is very humbling. I take so much for granted.

How much effort should we put into production quality?

fern: yes

As a geology major, its amazing to see this kind of information about faulting and strike/slip faults presented in an interesting and palatable way, me and my fellow geologists appreciate the effort the team put in to make something, normally specialized, accessible to the average person. Keep it up!

I’m from Ethiopia and I’m happy you are talking about this 🎉

Fun fact. Landlocked Ethiopia is currently in a struggle to get sea access by Somalia. One of Somalia’s ministers joked to Ethiopia that they should be a little patient bc they’ll get ocean access in a few million years 😂

Just watched a full on film, with the most incredible intro, in 20 minutes. Best part is it was free. What a blessing. Thank you Fern

that shot of the goats going into the volcano was so "unnecessary" but such a perfect example of the quality of these videos. compliments to your animation team

As a Kenyan Subscriber, I am actually happy to see you guys do this...

The rifts have happened severally in the lower rift valley with little to moderate weather changes.

I must say, without flogging a dead horse, you guys really do a good Job, research and production!

This is why I'm subscribed!

This fern video was way more humorous than the rest, nice change of pace. Yet the video quality stayed the same or better.

God damn, nice job boys 👏

Seeing Vali s face when he first saw the rift was just amazing … his observations just made the video… explains the feelings and the energy of the place . Incredible.

Vali did a fantastic job of explaining things on-site, and his expressions really tell you how awesome the experience was.

I remember visiting the Afar region in 2019. This brings back so many memories - the incredible landscapes and people, the boys with Crocs and Kalashnikovs, the camel caravans, going to the salt flats on the Eritrean border and sleeping on the lip of an active volcano (Erta Ale). It was a truly humbling experience. The only vehicles on the road were the white Toyota pickups of the tour guides and red Chinese construction trucks. I remember how excited our tour guides were to show us a new road that would cut travel time to the volcano by 2 hours.
