Since 2020, about 15,000 Haitians have settled in Springfield, Ohio. And while Ohio's governor says most of them are hardworking people escaping violence, that's not how former President Donald Trump described them during Tuesday night's debate. Lilia Luciano has more.

*"20, 000"* ... let that sink in... *"TWENTY-THOUSAND!!!"*
How did they get here?
Who sponsored them?
Who turned a blind eye?
Were they vetted?
Are they vaccinated?
Are they employable?
Are they receiving welfare?
*NO ONE'S ASKING THE REAL QUESTIONS... WHY NOT?"*

Eating dogs and cats or not the question is who let the 20, 000 Haitian immigrants into America.

It’s frustrating how government officials often place refugees in small Midwest towns, while avoiding their own affluent communities. They act like they’re champions for refugees, but when it comes to their own backyards—places like Washington, D.C. or Malibu—they’re nowhere to be found. Instead, they push refugees into towns that often don’t have the resources to support them, just to appear compassionate. It’s easy to get accolades for ‘helping’ when you’re dumping people in areas far from your own home, rather than facing the reality of integrating them into places like Beverly Hills or Martha’s Vineyard. If they really cared, they’d welcome refugees into their own communities, not just the ‘flyover’ states.”

There's jobs for 20, 000 extra people in a town of 50, 000?

Propaganda piece. Obviously no one wants 40% of their town to suddenly become from the developing world.

What Trump said about the animals may be baseless, but I didn’t know about the problem and now I do. a 25% increase in population is not sustainable in this small town. According to Townhall meetings, I’ve watched the estimates are closer to 20, 000 migrants not 15, 000 and that makes a difference when you only have 58, 000 as your base population, maybe you should report this a little bit more accurately instead of focusing on the wild claim of the animals underneath, all of this is a huge problem. This would be the equivalent of plopping 1.75 million haitians into Phoenix without anyone having any say in it. It’s OK to be kind, it’s also also OK to be realistic.
