President-elect Donald Trump made the promise of mass deportations a pillar of his re-election bid. He's pledged to deport millions of immigrants — including some who are living in the United States legally. In Springfield, Ohio, the city whose Haitian immigrant community became the epicenter of hateful rhetoric and misinformation during the campaign, many fear what this could mean for them.

"CBS Saturday Morning" co-hosts Michelle Miller and Dana Jacobson deliver two hours of original reporting and breaking news, as well as profiles of leading figures in culture and the arts. Watch "CBS Saturday Morning" at 7 a.m. ET on CBS and 8 a.m. ET on the CBS News app.

So many people don't know the definition of illegal.

These people in Springfield got temporary status which means they can be deported; Trump has said he will do away with this.

Why does the media always report about the impact deportation would do to the illegals but not about how it would help the citizens ?

How did these people “from poverty-stricken Haiti” get the funding to move to the US, move around the US, create an enclave, open businesses and buy cars and homes? How do I get all that support as a US citizen? We are told to go into massive debt for everything.

"TEMPORARY PROTECTED STATUS" means you're here temporary and when that status expired, you need to go back to your country.

Americans voted to make mass deportation a priority not Trump. The goal of the USA must be to put and keep Americans first. Her as a foreign person is not our problem because she's an adult with an established Federal Government. A lot of these recent foreign immigrants are extremely arrogant and hostile but are now only playing 'nice' because the American people, Trump, and Tom Homan isn't playing with them anymore. If your here legally don't worry. If you you overstayed your visa or entered the US without passport or proper documents there's a problem. Plain and simple

Illegal immigrants. If she can open a business then she can fill out forms and apply for citizenship.

Do I feel bad, No, they have been treated better than US citizens, with all the free stuff our taxes have been paying for. Should have come here the legal way.How many US citizens lost everything with the prices of goods, rent, taxes, and trying to make ends meet.

I’ve never read so many ignorant comments😢 I hope those who are screaming the loudest never have to become refugees in another country. Some of you think it can’t happen here, but it can.

I didn’t vote for Trump, but I support this. It’s crazy that immigrants are getting free housing, food stamps and clothes, while Americans are not…

Go back and wait in line just like all the rest of us who came legally. It is not fair to jump the line regardless of what your reason is.
