Drop-off Locations for Handheld Recycling Bins

Henrico County residents who receive curbside recycling from the Central Virginia Waste Management Authority are getting new, 95-gallon recycling carts. The carts are replacing the handheld bins that have been in use. Beginning July 1, CVWMA will collect only recyclables that are placed in the new carts.

Residents are welcome to keep and use their handheld bin for nonrecycling uses. They also may drop them off at four locations for recycling:

* Henrico County Government Center, 4301 E. Parham Road, through July 31
* Eastern Government Center, 3820 Nine Mile Road, through July 31
* Springfield Road Public Use Area, 10600 Fords Country Lane
* Charles City Road Public Use Area, 2075 Charles City Road
