Blinky (red) actually ALWAYS chases you, even when it looks like it doesn’t, this is to hopefully catch the player off guard.

okay... Let me explanation the ghosts
Red is the fearless leader of them all. Pink is the intelligent one and always has a plan to beat pac man. Inky is the confused one of the group, that ghost is normally circling the maze to randomly find pac man. And the last one Clyde. Clyde is the least intelligent one. That ghost does not know what he is doing, but his only mission is to beat pac man.

Ghost's name:
Red: Blinky
Pink: Pinky
Blue: Inky
Orange: Clyde

When Scatter mode:
Blinky: Takes top right
Pinky: Takes top left
Inky: Takes lower right
Clyde: Takes lower left

When Chase mode:
Blinky: Chases you all the time
Pinky: Can be trapped if Blinky and Pinky if you're in the middle and have no where to go
Inky: Same as Pinky but different
Clyde: ignores and chases you and stacks with Blinky, Inky and Pinky sometimes

Blinky (Red) constantly pursues Pac-Man and will speed up when there's fewer dots left on the screen.
Pinky is the one who tries to ambush Pac-Man by trying to get ahead of him.
Inky (Blue) IS NOT the most aggressive ghost. He's the most random. He can be dangerous when in close proximity with Blinky, but less of a threat when further away from Pac-Man.

Clyde/Sue (Orange) Is the "dumb" one and just kind of does his/her own thing, but sometimes will behave like Blinky and pursue Pac-Man but only when Pac-Man is at a further distance. If Pac-Man gets close to Clyde/Sue, he/she will automatically retreat to the lower left-hand corner of the screen.

here’s another tip, if you looked closely they sometimes turn around in the other direction, meaning they’re on “scatter mode” is what i call it, scatter mode is when the ghosts get to their positions and camp there, the top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right, when they turn around again it means they’re on chase mode. where they chase the player
