How Robby FINALLY Beat Miguel

After watching Cobra Kai season 6 and seeing the fight between Miguel and Robby, I wanted to make a video talking about why not only Robby deserved this win, but also debunk any silly things like Miguel holding back.Robby started off as some kid who would scam people for money and blame his problems on a dad that was never in his life. His father just so happened to be Johnny Lawrence. After trying to join Larusso auto to get back at him, he ended up befriending Daniel and ended up as his next karate kid. Daniel would eventually find out about him being related to Johnny in the worst way possible, leading into him then fighting in the All Valley alone and not having guidance. Daniel eventually forgives Robby, leading into him helping Robby through the All Valley and even with one arm, he somehow performed the greatest kick in miyagi do and was beating Miguel before he relied on hurting his shoulder.But ultimately, he isn’t given the All Valley win, and instead it was Miguel. And speaking of, the Miguel beef is a whole other story that i've luckily covered so feel free to check out those videos but, Pretty much Miguel and Sam have a big misunderstanding and while this happens Sam and Miguel both kinda use Robby and Tory as a way to forget about each other, when deep down they still care about each other. And as we know, this leads into the bomb that was the school fight, where we not only see Robby at his lowest, but we see him show no mercy. With this, he would go running away, and would get turned in by his own sensei without his consent. Which pretty much makes him completely hate Daniel and eventually we see him cut off Johnny after we see him defending Miguel. Robby, believing he has no one, would see none other than John Kreese by his side, seeing more potential in him than both his sensei and his own father. After applying the cobra kai mentality in juvie, and then being released, we’d see him try to turn to the one person he believed he still had, which was Sam, and he'd see that that wasn't the case.After now seeing he truly has noone, he joins cobra kai and helps take down not only Johnny and Danny, but also his ex and miguel. This leads into Season 4 where we see that spark Robby had in the school fight being fully ignited here. He’d not only fully embrace the strike first strike hard no mercy mentality, but he;d even pass it on to Shawn's brother, Kenny. Robby embracing this hate believed he could win the All Valley and prove he's better, but this leads into him seeing Kenny evolve into something else, which made Robby begin to self reflect. Which is why by the time of the Hawk fight, he hesitated and ended up losing the All Valley Final once again. After this, he’d confront his dad, telling him that he's done feeling the way he does towards him and everything else. This mentality has ultimately made him a man he didn't want to become, and he wants to start fixing himself by fixing his relationship with the one person he hated the most, which was his dad. And so, Johnny and Robby by the time of season 5 would be on good terms, which leads into Robby then solving the last problem he has in his life, that being Miguel. I'd say Sam as well but he got with Tory so he's not too worried about her anymore. Miguel and Robby would be beefing throughout the season like usual, until Johnny finally gets them both to agree to settle it all in one big fight. And this leads into Robby being put in the same position he put Miguel, but this time Miguel holds back. He’d show mercy, doing what Robby couldnt and showing that he was stronger, leading into Robby and Miguel finally being cool. But we’d see everything change when they begin prepping for the Tekkei Sekkai. With this tournament being a nation wide thing, this could allow new opportunities for whoever wins it in the martial arts world. And as we know, before karate, Robby never really had anything and was nobody before learning Miyagi Do. Miguel was known as number one and climbed back up, while Hawk was someone who reshaped himself and claimed the title as the strongest. While Robby never really has had a chance to truly shine, and after finally finding true Balance and saving Kenny, Robby's opportunity really is now or never. And so with this, we'd see their fight begin with Miguel getting the first two points, but after seeing Tory, it reminded him that he can't afford to lose this, not this time. And so out of nowhere we’d see Robby land 3 clean points in a row, solidifying his position as captain.

miguel fan here. Miguel won the first all valley. Hawk won the second. Robby’s whole character is kinda being the “runner up” to miguel, a pretty common trope in shows. Why cant we just let have robby this one win huh?

Before Miguel fans say he was unbalanced Hayden Schlossberg stated both Robby and Miguel were slightly on edge going into the fight but Miguel had Sam so thats why he was winning but when Tory showed up Robby got his motivation and makes come back. Only then Miguel became more off balance and loses. This shows that when the circumstances were the same Robby proved to be better.

I’ve been waiting for Robby to win since season 1. He has been 2nd place since the beginning & he REALLY needed a win. Miguel just competing in the tournament will probably get him into Stanford but Robby being captain has given him self confidence he hasn’t had. I’m so proud of him
