What Does A Clay Bar Do? | Knight Rider K.I.T.T. | - Chemical Guys

Using a clay bar removes contaminants from the pores of the paint that aren't removed during a normal wash. In this video we will show you how to properly clay your car and how to prepare your car for a polish. Tear off a small piece of the clay bar and shape it into a disc that covers two or three fingers. Spray a generous coat of Chemical Guys Clay Luber over the surface to keep the bar lubricated, prevent marring, and avoid installing scratches or swirls.

I noticed Nick is claying the windshield. What steps are taken after that process is completed? You can't polish the glass like you would normal car paint, so should I assume that claying glass won't leave any issues behind?

Hello chemical guys, my father just buy a recon BMW M4 and to be honest he love it alot.today my father went to a new road and the rest of the black road tar get stuck on it.i wash it with a car soap, car washing mitt with the two bucket setup but it wont buff off.should i clay or use wax to remove it?
