What did you major in - Psychology & Mathematics
Can you tutor me - I am not currently taking students, but I have a rockstar tutor team. I trained them, they teach my program, and they all scored 1500+ on the SAT. Highly recommend them!
How long have you been teaching - Since 2007 (please try not to do the math on my age😉)
What do you score on the Digital SAT - I scored a 1580 (780 English, 800 Math) on the June 2024 Test
Do you teach both English and Math - Yes!
Why do you decide to teach - I was working in leverage acquisition (finance) in New York City and lost my job in 2008 (economy crash). I moved to South Florida to start over and fell into test prep. I realized it was my calling and have been doing it ever since!

If you have absolutely no idea, don't waste time. Just flag and move on

hey laura I've been busy with college lately but I want to tell you that you're videos helped me get 790 on the English module. I had previously started from 550. But your strategies and your walk through definently did helped me out

@everyone I just took the test...went exactly how the predictions guessed. I can't reveal any of the harder questions yet, but the second math module was definitely a LOT more challenging. The first modules on both math and reading were a breeze, and the 2nd reading was also challenging as well too (especially the vocab + main idea passages). Hopefully we all cooked tho 🍳

For the metacognition tip, not overthinking it is just as important. For the problems you showed on screen, the "harder questions", I got the answer to at around the 15 second mark. According to Grok 3, they are all correct as well. Be confident in your intelligence as well as making sure you got each and every detail correct. Be mindful and efficient.

Hey!! I took the december SAT (my first one ever) and got a 1370 with a 660 on English!! Since then I've worked on the words in context and the harder questions on the second module. Now, I struggle a little bit with time on english module 2 still (I end up not even getting the time to read 2-3 questions on there) but I've stopped struggling with trap answers in the harder questions. Hoping for a 50 point (or more) improvement hopefully!! Please pray for me!!
