I'm inclined to believe that the reason that they originally phrased their declaration of restock as a question to Matara was so that a "yes" can be interpreted and argued by their legal dept as explicit permission to continue extracting revenues. Matara unknowingly didn't fall into that trap, and while I'd like to think that would keep Niji's legal team up at night, I wouldn't be surprised if one of their managers/brand people just tried that on their own initiative and didn't tell anybody. As far as Twitch is concerned, their enforcement team has a huge lack of oversight and nearly unlimited power, and anyone who's tangentially aware of the state of Reddit can tell you how horrible of an idea that is.

Kyho, I need to correct something, if no one else has already done so. This is, from my understanding, NOT a new policy or policy change from Twitch. This has, in fact, been the policy for well over 3 years. It's likely that they are being more active in enforcing it than they have in the past thanks to Ironmouse's absolutely amazing achievement of becoming the #1 subbed streamer on Twitch ever, shoving all vtubers into the spotlight on Twitch. That's a great thing, one that I daresay the vast majority of the vtuber community wanted and benefits from, but the flip side is that they can no longer fly under the radar as they have in the past. Again, that is my understanding of what has happened, so please look into this more yourself as well, because the details and context do matter in this case.

tbh.. I'm not even shock anymore since my friend tell me that they saw ex Niji ID's merch still selled before Niji EN first graduation. like.. WhAt??
Prob the EX Niji ID just wanna peace or they dont have enough power to speak up what injustice they got there, like you know they was merge with JP. Not get enough spotlight and appreciation even tho there a language barrier between japan and indonesian language. It's amazing how they try their best in Niji for a year and more :'(

Personally, though, I do agree that sex work is real work, and I don't mind them being on Twitch. Vtubers (of all sizes), Onlyfans E-girls, and VrChat should ALL EQUALLY be allowed! I just don't want hate being sent towards Onlyfans E-girls 😕 or VrChat, for that matter. Or see any of them get banned either! I don't want Vtubers and Onlyfans E-girls to be put against each other, be pitted against each other, or BE against each other! I want BOTH to coexist in harmony!

Based Bao, about time she set boundaries for clippers and I really hope other vtubers follow suit. Its annoying and in some cases kinda creepy/gross seeing the thumbnails/titles of some clips. Needless to say weird clickbait titles and thumbnails earn a fat "Do Not Recommend Channel" from me.
