A global effort to find the missing submersible touring the Titanic wreckage has come to a tragic conclusion.

The U.S. Coast Guard said they had found the tail cone of the #Titan vessel approximately 1,600 feet from the Titanic. In a presser, Rear Admiral John Mauger of the USCG said, “The debris is consistent with the catastrophic loss of the pressure chamber” and offered condolences to the late passengers' families.

You pay 250k, to ride in this thing. There should have been a plethora of safety mechanisms that kept them alive. A much quicker rescue rather than recovery.
This just should not have happened, period.
They find them 6 hours after the oxygen has run out. I’m sure it ran out before the estimated time however. Do damn sad. Not only do they probably get sued for this but to fire a person, right before the ride because he tells them that it’s not safe, they advance the ride to hurry up and go before he makes his claim louder. Tsk tsk

But don’t worry folks, I’m sure our government will take care of it and help them out just like they do they banks, etc., and we will end up paying for their negligence
