Peggy Hill is one of the funniest  characters in King of the Hill

Peggy is hilarious as a character. She is always well meaning but yes…her world views lead her into some crazy situations… I never thought of her as arrogant because that usually is entitlement but often a false arrogance is used by people who feel
really insecure. She has the pomposity of the religious right BUT she is willing to learn after being shown how wrong she is. Hank is so well known to me-also that good ole boy who is stubbornly set in his ways. He is not adventurous and Peggy is.
