can we take a moment to apreciate how joseph is clearly bored and unconfortable being there?
he knows john redcorn but has no interest in seeing him fix a fence, and is clearly confused as for why his mother makes him spend time with a man who is not his dad.

Hank is undoubtedly the smartest character in the show. He knows everything but doesn't ever want be involved with any of it.

My favorite Dale joke is when he says “John Redcorn is caring for my child, that’s awful nice of him. Can’t say I’d do the same.”

In the ep where Dale ruined Hank's lawn with the fire ants, it was implied that Bobby didn't think that Dale was Joseph's father. Bobby isn't the brightest bulb in the box and even he figured something was off. Joseph said something like, "My dad can help." and Bobby said in a questioning tone, "Mr. Gribble?" Joseph seemed surprised and was like yeah, of course or whatever. lol

What's really hilarious about this episode is that it's hinted that even LuAnne had it figured out before Peggy.

It took her 13 years to piece it together and even then hank had to almost spell it out for her, the best part is she often considers herself to be the smartest person in a room.
