In this video, I cover partial fraction decomposition for fractions with an irreducible quadratic factor in the denominator (a quadratic that cannot be factorised). A constant term and a linear term are both needed in the numerator of the partial fraction with the quadratic in the denominator. Then pick and substitute values for x, or equate coefficients (or both) in order to find the values for A, B and C.
