As a Newcastle fan i think its time to walk away, let him keep his superstar and we get him when hes free.

Parish is trying to bump up the price and maybe get more clubs involved. Newcastle should stick to their valuation and not pay over the odds.

Walk away NUFC, there must be similar undescovered talent in lower leagues or abroad

Not actually needed by Newcastle this season, come back next year when he will be in last year of his contract when he threatens to run it out, then offer £20m see how smug Parrish is then.

2 years left on his contract, take the 55 + 5 million because he certainly isn’t a generational talent as parish states.
He isn’t a messi or Ronaldo.
Nobody is gonna pay anywhere close to him for that next transfer window he’s only had a good second half of last season and a good euros

I noticed last season that female pundits were starting to use 'generational talent' as a current buzzphrase for totally undeserving players. It seems Parish has been watching them and copying them talking sh!te.
In this case the player does seem decent and seems a very good personality, but claiming 'generational talent' is an absolute liberty.

Of course Palace are gonna call him a generational talent. It's all part of the negotiation. Any of our fans saying we should walk away have never bartered at a car boot sale before.

Walk away. Parish talking about "superstars" lol, we've got Isak, Bruno and Gordon mate... their combined value would probably buy Crystal Palace outright. Guehi is a decent CB with 2 years left on his deal, you've now got an unhappy player who's gonna see out his contact. Valuing Guehi more than Olise is absolutely wild. Everton haven't had a bid for Brainthwaite which tells you everything you need to know about their valuation, not to mention he's got more than 2 years left on his deal. Parish should get back down the fruit and veg market.

Rodri, Mbappe & Vinicius Jr are "superstars." Guehi isn't!!

Guehi is a good player, but he's NOT a superstar.

Newcastle will move on now pay 30 - 40 million for a CB and a RW palace have lost out there

Parish has shot himself in the foot here. This seemed like a plea to get a higher fee from a bigger club but whos paying that? None of the top teams need him. Newcastle have proven that they won't get mugged off over higher fees eg Gordon when Everton wanted more money. They'll walk away and Palace will be left with a disheartened player whose value will steadily drop over the next two windows.

I'm a Newcastle fan but come on. 60 million for a defender! There's defenders out there that are cheaper and just as good . Walk away

Maguire and Guardiol moved at a time before PSR came in. Their fees nowadays would not hit those levels even years later.

Parish is wrong . We don't HAVE to do anything. Walk away and bid less next window when Guehi only has one year left on his contract.

Parish will be tanked if he puts a transfer request in ha ha he isn’t a generational talent and he’s 24 and Chelsea grew him not Palace
