Everyone who knows to draw today felt at some point like you do. It's up to you to give up or not.

Awesome video. Now I just need practice to determine where the two points go on a blank page before I do the drawing so I know the angles of my lines.

Maybe you can understand better with subtitles (you can turn them on by clicking on the button in the bottom bar called "turn on captions").

Man trying to understand how to draw is hard road to many people tell me just to practice but how can i improve without first knowing how to improve... I can draw stuff from real life as long as they are simple like a refrigerator it may not look very good but i can yet if i try and draw a lets say plant i can't seem to do it...

Identify which sides of the form you see(top or bottom, which side); then figure which side/edge is dimensionally smaller than the other(thats the side turned away from you); also which part looks proportionally shrunken (foreshortened) which will help orient you above or below. That gives you the perspective.

If I draw a picture of a mannequin in a certain pose, is it possible to retrospectively work out which type of perspective it is (would I first have to place a surface below him or some point of orientation)? Also if I am drawing on a big piece of paper and populate it with many objects, maybe hills and dips in roads, is it legitimate to have more than one type of perspective within the same picture?

Never works mate, the subtitles, we once watched a youtube vid during my geopolitics class and everyone was laughing their butts off, because they were so funny.
